FTL Rules Update

In the FTL Rules for 2014-15, I wrote:

Draw No Bet (DNB)

Football Data do not record prices on these bets. A selection of Team A (DNB) will therefore be treated as a lay selection of opponents Team B, in other words you have the Draw on your side, but stand to win less. Bear that in mind before choosing this market.

This was never a very satisfactory solution, and after an exchange of emails with Matt of Football Elite, for whom an accurate reflection of his bets in the FTL table is important, I am updating this rule. 

Basically, it is not rocket surgery to deduce the DNB prices from the Match Odds, and so I spent a total of about five minutes setting up the spreadsheet to accept Match Odds and spit out the DNB prices.

So the rule will now read: 

Draw No Bet (DNB)

Football Data do not record prices on these bets, but the prices will be calculated using the Match Odds that are published. The probability implied for the draw will be re-assigned proportionately to the Home and Away prices, for example
