Wacky Bundesliga

I was reading an article in When Saturday Comes where the adjective 'wacky' was used to describe the Bundesliga. I've previously highlighted the profitability of laying odds-on home favourites there, but picking a winning team there is harder than any other major league. I say 'winning team' because the hit rate on strong draws is not too much lower than on the other major leagues, although going 0 for 2 this weekend didn't help.

Strong draws in Germany are hitting this season at 35.3% while the other four combined are hitting at 37.5%.

Stuttgart and Wolfsburg both let me down today, and not one Bundesliga home team were odds-on today.

Three draws from four in France and Italy made the day very profitable, and it would have been a grand slam except for Olympique Lyonnaise's 94' winner. Still, mustn't grumble.

It would be nice to catch up with Pete Nordsted's Draw Master System though. He currently has a 44% strike rate on this system, not too shabby at all whatever you may think of his book or service. His two winners today were my top two draw prospects also, the games of Wigan Athletic v Stoke City and Birmingham City v Tottenham Hotspur. He also has tomorrow's West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle United game as the third of his weekly trio, and this would be the third strongest in my list.
